The
Issue
NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue on the
following Telephone templates in which the documented
information does not display on the
Communications grid. The templates that are
affected are:
- Medical
Question – Telephone (telephone_med_quest)
- Referral
Request – Telephone (telephone_referral_req)
- Billing
Question – Telephone (telephone_billing_quest)
- Outgoing
– Telephone (telephone_outgoing)
- Test
Result Request - Telephone (telephone_testresult)
- Forms/Records
Request – Telephone (telephone_form_req)
- Other
– Telephone (telephoneother)
- Medication
Management – Telephone (telephone_med_mngt)
ExampleIn
this example, the user creates a new patient or opens an existing
patient and creates a new encounter. The user navigates to the
Telephone Call template and selects
Family
Practice as the specialty and
Patient
Communication as the visit type. The user clicks the
Medication Question active link to launch the
Medical Question – Telephone pop-up. The user documents
information and clicks
Send & Close. The user
selects the recipients, assigns the task, and clicks
OK. The user sees the
Medical Question –
Telephone pop-up did not close after assigning the task. The
user also sees the documented information is not displayed on the
Communications grid.


Actions Required
Until
this issue is fixed, users should manually click
Save &
Close on the
Telephone template after the task is
assigned. This will save the documented information to the
grid.
Status
This issue will be fixed in in a future update.
