NextGen® Ambulatory EHR v.5.7, and v.5.8
The Issue
NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue with NextGen® Document Management (formerly NextGen ICS) where images that contain multiple pages with different image types do not export to NextGen® Patient Portal.
Example
In this example, the user launches ICS from the Application Launcher and clicks the
Search icon.
The user selects an image which contains multiple pages of differing image types from the
Image Lookup pop-up.
The user right-clicks the image and selects
Send to Patient Portal.
The user sees the image is not received in the Patient Portal.

Actions RequiredUntil the issue is fixed, the workflow workaround is to send the image with the option “include annotations.”

This issue has been fixed in NextGen Ambulatory EHR v.5.8 UD1.
