Problem# 37488 Resolved in KBM 8.1.5.

Versions Affected

NextGen® KBM v.7.8, v.7.9, v.8.0 and v.8.1

The Issue

NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue on the Visual Fields – OPH template where the submitted code is always 92083 (“Visual field exam(s), extended”) regardless of which type of procedure is performed.

Example

In this example, the user opens the Home - OPH template, clicks on the Procedures tab and clicks Visual Fields under the “Diagnostic” section (screen 1). This launches the Visual Fields – OPH template. On this template, the user documents the performed test and associated results (screen 2). Once completed, the user selects a radio option under the “Bill Test” section and clicks Save (screen 2). The user clicks on the Coding tab (screen 3)and launches the Coding – OPH template. The user notices, regardless of the test performed, the “Procedures/test:” grid only shows a procedure code of 92083 - “Visual field exam(s), extended”.
