Billable Encounters Do Not Display in the Ambulatory EHR System

Issue ID: 52646

Versions Affected

NextGen® Ambulatory EHR v.5.8 UD1 HF36, v.5.8 UD1 HF41, and v.5.8 UD1 HF42

The Issue

NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue where encounters created in NextGen® Practice Management as billable-only do not display in NextGen® Ambulatory EHR.

Example

In this example, the user launches NextGen Practice Management and creates a billable-only encounter.

The user then launches NextGen Ambulatory EHR and navigates to the Tools menu and selects Preferences. The Preferences dialog box launches and the user navigates to the Main Toolbar tab. The user confirms the Billable Encounters check box from the Filter section is selected. The user opens the same patient and sees that the billable encounter created in the NextGen Practice Management system does not display.
