The Issue
NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue on the Lab Review template where lab results for the same tests incorrectly display on the patient’s chart when documenting information for multiple patients.
Example
In this example, the user creates a new patient or opens an existing patient and creates a new encounter.
The user navigates to the Intake template and selects a specialty and visit type.
From the Reason for Visit panel, the user selects Chronic Conditions and launches the Chronic Conditions - HPI pop-up.
The user clicks the Lab Review active text and selects any lab test from the Labs Reviewed list.
The user documents a result and date and clicks Save & Close.
The user creates another new patient or opens an existing patient and creates a new encounter.
The user navigates to the
Intake template and selects a specialty and visit type.
From the
Reason for Visit panel, the user selects
Chronic Conditions and launches the
Chronic Conditions - HPI pop-up.
The user clicks the
Lab Review active text and selects the same lab test as the previous patient.
The user sees the
Result field automatically populates with the result from the previous patient.

Actions Required
Until this issue is fixed, users may delete and re-enter the correct value in the
Result field.
